Seminar Session 1 8:45 – 10:30
- Registration/Welcome
- Basic Camera Settings (including ISO and “creative” settings)
- Exposure Modes (Av, Tv, M, A) and the Exposure Triangle
- Histograms – how your camera tells you about picture quality
- Raw & JPG images
- Lens considerations
Seminar Session 2 1:30 - 3:30
- Dynamic Range – exposing to the right, avoiding grey skies
- Exposure Compensation/Bracketing
- Effective flash use (auto, off, forced, red eye)
- Using light to your advantage
Wednesday, September 18 Juneau 1:00pm to 10:00pm
Seminar Session 3 8:30 – 10:30
- Composition tips
- Depth of field/Focus Lock
- Getting the best travel photos
